This dataset presents research data associated with "Carbonate triple oxygen and carbon isotope effects of chemical pretreatments on tooth enamel and eggshell." In this work, we test the effects of various chemical pretreatments on the mineral structure and isotopic composition of modern and fossil eggshell and tooth enamel. We present mass loss, FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared), and isotopic (d13C, d18O, D17O) data.
